Summit Christian Academy offers several options for homeschooling families including an online school or umbrella school, curriculum only, and testing options. Of course, there are fees, but they are not too bad if you consider the payment options. Go to http://www.scahomeschool.com/ and find out if their courses/curriculum are right for you. They do have a testimonial page for you to read how satisfied others feel about SCA.
The card I received in the mail states that they were established in 1981. Twenty-six years is a pretty good track record. However, I haven't used them myself and have based all of my comments on what I have read and not from experience. We are merely trying to help the homeschooler find a direction if they are looking for assistance.

Teaching Foreign Languages
At some point your home schooled child will need to learn a foreign language if he/she plans on going to college. Our older son, who is in public high school because of the baucclaureate degree I do not have, will be a Senior this school year and told me that beginning this year, High School Freshmen will be required to have 4 years of a foreign language before they graduate high school in order to enter college. Rosetta Stone offers a home school version at the following link http://www.rosettastone.com/homeschool/. Again, I'm not positive that their system works, but they do offer an unconditional 6 month money back guarantee on the cd purchase so this may be worth a try. They also set up monthly payments (unsure of the terms), have curriculum paths, parent administrative tools (graphs of child's progress) and much more to help the homeschool parent.
